Lincoln Wild Kings are caught off Port Lincoln, the largest fishing port in Australia. There are nine main fishing grounds where the Lincoln Wild Kings are harvested.
They are harvested, cooked and packed on modern state-of-the-art vessels with the highest level of quality control.
The fishermen are heavily involved in managing their own destiny and they are committed to ensuring the sustainability of the fishery. The 42 vessels which harvest Lincoln Wild Kings are family owned businesses. Lincoln Wild Kings have been harvested for over 30 years and we continue to get 2000 tonnes each year of high quality product.
At times of the year when the catch rates are high, the starting time of harvesting is delayed to ensure that the quality of Lincoln Wild Kings does not suffer.
